Designed by New York based designer Peter D’Ascoli for FCML, these ceramic tile collections draw inspiration from two rich cultural legacies,the paisley Jamavar shawls of Kashmir and the grandeur of Byzantium, an empire that bridged the Eastern and Western worlds for over a thousand years.
Intricate Mughal-era textile motifs merge with Byzantine influences drawn from ancient Greek, Roman, and Persian art, architecture, mosaics, and ornamental geometry, resulting in a maximalist yet timeless range of ceramic surfaces. Featuring borders and allover patterns suitable for floors and wall cladding, the collections are available in curated three-color groups : Dark, White, and Shahtoosh,allowing designers to craft both classic and contemporary interior expressions.
